We Are the Problem and the Solution

This applies to 2 very different situations, and yet both of these are directly connected because everything is just that, connected.

Look at the condition of the world, and you will see that all of our problems we face as a planet are created by ourselves. We create pollution, war, envy, hatred, racism, poverty, etc…and we also have the ability to change this. We are here the problem and the solutions.

Then there is ourselves to look at. We create the negative thoughts we hold onto. Only we can change these. A way to look at things is that everything that has happened to us was for a reason. It has allowed us to get to where we are right now. Everything we now feel, is a result of ourselves. We can change everything we choose to, and it is just a matter of work and effort to put ourselves in better situations. All that matters is what you think. The feelings you now have can only be changed by you. No one can make you change, only you can change yourself.

What we think becomes our reality – how we view ourselves, how we view others, how we react, how we feel…if they are negative, you can change them. You are wonderful, you are beautiful, you are smart and with that attitude, you have the solution to your problems.

You are the problem and your only solution. Change your thoughts and your life will follow.

Life is good, enjoy the Ride

I saw this on a park bench at a time I wasn’t enjoying life. How Ironic looking at this now, not realizing then that this phase was too just a part of the journey. We are on an adventure in this life, and it is best to enjoy it. We can’t change it, we can’t get off, there is no turning back – there is only moving forward and making the best of all situations.

Walking past this bench, near a beach, having dinner as the sunsets – those are the moments I often used to forget about; these little moments that are so precious, that often go overlooked. It is the small things in life that mean so much. it’s a cup of tea, a game of chess, a good book, a nice walk…the sun, a bite of fruit, a smile, a conversation…life is but a bunch of small little memories that are all so special.

When we can begin to appreciate them, and stop worrying so much about what we have been taught to care about – life gets good, it gets really, really, really simple and good.

It is not just in the world, but the changes you feel/see that other people should make. It is a reflection. Make the changes yourself, and you will be at peace. If you want to help change the world, or people in your life – the best thing you can do is change yourself and lead by example, and have them see it on there own, and want to be more like you. Through ourselves we reflect on the world, and our interactions have a rippling effect on the universe. We are all connected. We are all ONE>
